President Mnangagwa has hailed the 2026 Zimbabwe Agricultural Show as a clear sign that the nation remains on a positive development trajectory. Touring the exhibition grounds in Harare, he noted that the wide range and high quality of exhibits from farmers, agribusinesses and technology providers illustrated renewed confidence in Zimbabwe’s agricultural sector.
The President highlighted how the show has evolved into a platform for innovation, with exhibitors showcasing modern farming equipment, value-added produce and new techniques aimed at boosting productivity. He encouraged local enterprises to continue investing in research and development to strengthen food security and economic growth.
This year’s event attracted a record number of participants, with organisers reporting a surge in youth-led agri-tech projects and smallholder farmer displays. The President’s visit underscored the government’s commitment to supporting agriculture as a key driver of national development.
